Depart by motor coach from SAA at 9:00 am and arrive in front of the Metropolitan Museum of Art by mid-morning. Tour MMA on your own or any of the fine institutions located on NYC's famed Museum Mile. Bus departs from in front of the Met. at 3:00 for return to SAA.
Museum of Modern Art, New York City

Depart by motor coach from SAA at 9:00 am and arrive at the Museum of Modern Art in New York City. Exhibits on view include "Experimental Women in Flux," works by women that form part of the museum’s newly acquired Silverman Fluxus Collection; "Counter Space: Design and the Modern Kitchen," "New Photography," "Underground Gallery: London Transport Posters 1920s-1940s," and "Project 93: Dinh Q. Le." Visit www.moma.org to learn more about MoMA’s offerings. Bus departs from in front of MoMA at 3:00 pm for return to SAA.
The Barnes Foundation, Philadelphia

Departing from SAA at 9:00 am via motor coach, the group will first visit the extraordinary Barnes Foundation which houses one of the finest collections of nineteenth and twentieth-century French painting in the world. An extraordinary number of masterpieces by Renoir, Cézanne and Matisse provide a depth of work by these artists unavailable elsewhere.
Next, the group will depart for The Franklin Institute to tour "Cleopatra: The Search for the Last Queen of Eqypt." The World of Cleopatra which has been lost to the sea and sand for nearly 2,000 years, surfaces in this new exhibition. Organized by National Geographic and Arts and Exhibitions International with cooperation from the Egyptian Supreme Council of Antiquities and the European Institute for Underwater Archeology, the exhibition features never before seen artifacts, and takes visitors inside the present day search for Cleopatra. The visit includes a special 'themed' lunch in a private room.

Subscription is sold as a package of four trips as stated above. Cost includes round trip motor coach transportation to/from SAA, admission to The Barnes Foundation and admission and lunch at the Franklin Institute. No refunds are given unless a trip is cancelled by SAA.

Registration will begin for non-members at 10:00 am on Wednesday, July 21.
